I'm sitting here watching the news feed from Paris regarding the terror attacks and I would like to say I'm surprised, but I'm not. I'm sick about it and I'm furious over it...but I'm not surprised.
The death toll at this time is 158 in 6 locations. The next threat is America....Paris is a practice run.
These Islamic Jihadists are a bunch of cowards! Both Al Quaida and ISIS attack ONLY civilians. You will never hear a story about them engaging any military target. They will defend themselves against military engagement, but they will never target a military entity. Cowards! They only take on targets who are unable to defend themselves.
Please don't think for a moment that I am a proponent of civilian casualties in any war, however, IT IS TIME for us to realize that this is war! The radical Islamists have declared war on ALL OF US WHO ARE NOT MUSLIM. Did you hear me? All of us, that's you, your children, your family and friends. THEY HAVE DECLARED WAR! We must react to this declaration and fight back....and there will be civilian casualties.
We must stop trying to reason with them.
We must stop trying to ignore the threat.
The USA is next!
It is past time for us to take on Islam on their own turf and do it right this time. We need to carpet bomb the region and let them know we are serious about protecting ourselves. A statement was released after the Paris attack from ISIS saying the taste of blood in Paris was sweet, but that American blood would taste so much better.
I remember when I was in high school, my dad was talking about this very kind of thing. He said that Plate Glass Politics was the only thing that would work in the Middle East. So far, we have done everything but this, IT IS TIME! My dad was career Army, and an EOD specialist. He knew. I trusted him then, I trust him now.
